My orange rose shrub had lots of buds this spring but there was a problem: as the buds emerged, the buds turned black, dried up and died without blossoming. I wondered what had caused the problem. Then I found it was caused by a tiny beetle with a tube-like mouth like a mosquito’s. Does anybody have any idea how to control these beetles?
