This wildgrass or wildflower is called the Karasu no endo (Wild Bean) and it blooms from March till June. The plant looks a lot like a pea or sweetpea doesn’t it?
This link shows you how karasu no endo tea is brewed:
Wash leaves and stems of KARASUNOENDO and dry them.
After about a week, roast them in a frying pan.
Put the roasted KARASUNOENDO in a teapot and pour boiled water.
Pale brown tea will be ready.
