Ants are amazing.
Some ants nest high in trees but most live underground. I’ve seen their nests in trees before. Some species keep certain insects such as aphids captive and feed on the sweet food they produce. Other species keep other types of ants as slaves. Some ants such as harvester ants wage war on those from neighbouring colonies to gain possession of a good feeding area. Sometimes an impressive show of strength is enough to force the rival ants to retreat.
