This was the first sunflower I ever grew.
Hokkaido where my grandmother lives is famous for sunflowers. Hokuryu has the largest sunflowers fields in Japan, visitors like to visit Himawari-no-sato at Hakuryu, Chiebun garden at Nayoro. and also at the Asahigaoka Observatory in Memanbetsu in mid september to early October.
