Native white Loosestrife, also called Gooseneck Blooms … you can see here an abundance of white spiked flowers that look like goose heads. Flowers in July- Sept attractive in mass plantings. . Excellent as a cut flower and attracts butterflies. Prefers average to moist, well-drained soil. Reaches 24-36ft tall. Photographed last weekend at the Medicinal Botanic Garden within Yakushi ike Park in Machida City.
