Gardens in Japan: The bottlebrush tree breaks out into bloom at the end of May

Pink bottlebrush. Nobody wears pink in our family except my sister. I don’t like pink except on flowers. If we had to have a bottlebrush tree, it would have to be a red one like the one below.

I’m sure no insect or bird is going to miss this one!
