Plants with berries can be bold ornamental plants taking all the attention or quiet and cute like these tiny berries that dot the gracefully arching branches of this Cotoneaster horizontalis.  It is native to Japan and a popular garden plant that is easy to care for. However, gardeners may avoid this plant for the reason that it is invasive and very hard to remove from the soil once it is established.
